Well-received site-specific performance at Chi Lin Nunnery created by internationally renowned music maestro Tan Dun
Created by music maestro Tan Dun, Purity. Transcendence is an immersive performance combining elements of architecture and music, Dunhuang murals and dance. Under the setting sun, the courtyards and gardens of Chi Lin Nunnery were turned into a stage of dream and fantasy. Tan Dun invited a group of promising young local musicians and dancers to join the performance and showcase the beauty of Chinese culture in a novel and artistic way, offering audiences a soul-purging experience.
